Selected manuscripts each represent positive depictions of mental health and further diversify mental health narratives in fiction. Writers and their projects will also receive additional support and guidance from The Jed Foundation to help further sustain their creative and personal well-being.

On this day in 1985, the English-language musical adaptation of LES MISERABLES debuted at the Barbican Center in London before heading to Broadway two years later.

One of the most beloved and longest-running musicals ever, LES MIS went on to win just about every major prize possible in theater.
