Out of all the tools humanity has developed and used to shape the world, and the reality that surrounds us, language has been, by far, the most important. Understanding ourselves and accurately explaining our perceptions while listening to others saves lives, builds nations, fosters revolutions.

People will tell you, “that’s impossible”, or they’ll try to limit you and say “only work on one language at a time”, or that “there’s no point to learning “—-“.

You limit yourself.

That’s it.

If you genuinely take the time and effort to learn and practice, then you can accomplish anything.

I absolutely love language(s).
I’m only fluent in English, but understand a lot of Spanish, Italian and French. I’ve also learned quite a bit of Mandarin, though the written aspect has stopped me, and have been learning Russian on and off for 20 years, and am now working on Arabic.

Kinda hard to believe America stands for anything good when “all people are free” was written by people who enslaved others.

They need to recognize they were used for their skin colour to maintain a system of exploitation of the many, by the few. If they truly cared for their “own” people, they’d stop hating “others” and recognize they’re in the same steaming cesspool, together with everyone else, and stop being selfish.

It’s disgusting, actually, not crazy (my opinion).
It just goes to show that the lessons taught didn’t cut deep enough, and that the “self interest” the american way of life promotes wasn’t slapped into oblivion. White people still benefit from being so, and that needs to change.

The lesson remains: when you cut out the eyes of the oppressor, they must change their behaviour to ensure their own survival.

Though, if you don’t want the slavers to come back later…there are other options available, ONLY bourgeois morality inviolates the rights of the people in that regard.

History tells us that enslaved Jamaicans 🇯🇲 were “given” their freedom, eventually.

It’s kinda’ funny how the enslaved burned down whole heaps of stuff, rioted, and caused trouble for the “ruling class”….and then were “given” their freedom.
