Oh it's GOOD for that. Ogtha's dirty STR build gets a lot of mileage out of it in DLC and PvP adventures (though admittedly it's been a while since I've played her) I'm debating it on the FAI/ARC Frenzy/Blood Run I've got

As a Blunderbuss Crossbow fan, it's best close range for bosses or PvP! It's got abysmal range but that up close-ness means you get really close to insta-proc! Ogtha has one as her "Cenobite Shotgun" with bleed bolts and it's *chef kiss*
