It's actually fascinating to have seen the list of every broken promise for the initial 2016 release of No Mans Sky and seeing every single feature in the game plus a bunch of extra features now. I finally understand the "we already forgave you Sean" meme.
Once again, this truly is the year of Warframe for me. I now also have Wukong Prime with one relic pull, and a few days ago I got my ticket to the Calgary TennoVIP event. I don't think I've gone to this many "events" in over a decade, and 2 of my 3 are Warframe.
Some of my overall planet highlights were: My home planet that was spawned 7 years ago. A planet that turns everything black and white. A planet that makes the Elephant's Foot in Chernobyl look safe. A blood ocean with an underwater weed farm. A purple haze planet soon to have a huge weed farm.
Well, I've been really addicted to No Man's Sky for the last few days and finally finished the main story. Ended up beating it on Survival because that's what I made my save as 7 years ago when I tried it one free weekend or something. It definitely helped that I did the expedition for the cool ship
Y'know, I was once again reminded why I feel like Digital Extremes is one of the best non-indie studios. They made a professionally produced edited cut of their concert and just put it out for free along with the fully mixed versions of the live performance also for free and not as a $30 CD.
I finally found my Mastery Rank 20 slate I've been searching for. I was legitimately considering putting up a "bounty" of platinum and inviting someone to my orbiter to see if they could find it.
I'm so annoyed right now, I *almost* finished adding a display of all my mastery slates in Warframe and I can't find ONE of them. My MR20 slate. I have no clue where I could have put it and I don't wanna go around resetting decorations so I guess I gotta play Where's Wally later.
I got one of those iced coffee pumpkin spice things at starbucks today and dear fucking god I don't know if there's any coffee in this thing at all. It tastes like someone dumped pumpkin spice in that shit you give to hummingbirds, how do people drink this stuff?
Well, I back-to-back got the rare parts to finish getting both Baruuk Prime and Grendel Prime, and then one of the rare parts for Garuda Prime. I shouldn't go outside tomorrow, I'm gonna be hit by a car because I spent all my month's supply of luck in one day.
What is with Warframe for me this year? My daily login reward was the Machete blueprint, I never bothered to get it because I really didn't want to grind out the 100k Simaris standing. Of all the weapon BPs it was one I legit needed and saved me a bunch of grinding.
My final haul for Plague Star is 142 Forma and 5 gold trophies in my solo clan display room. It really feels like this is the year of #Warframe for me between all the MR grinding, Tennocon, completing my Stalker weapon set, and now Plague Star leaving me pretty well set on Forma for a while.
On second thought, the Tennocon lines were more bearable solely because of the Warframe discord and being able to chat with other people without actually talking.
Well, I'm glad I arrived early because the merch line seems actually pretty reasonable. Or maybe it's just because my first merch line was a huge convention.
This Riven roll single-handedly carried my entire Plague Star build. It feels like quite possibly one of the best rolls I could have gotten to use out of all the rivens I owned.
For the first time in a very long time there's actually something cool in my province so I'm actually going to the Distant Worlds concert in Calgary tonight, I forgot how long of a drive it is though. I'm actually really excited to hear live orchestral FF14/16 stuff, and the others.
With a fire rate Wisp I essentially have an AA-12 that puts the Soma's fire rate to shame and with roughly a 20 shot magazine of 55 pellets of over 1k damage per pellet. I'm now sitting on almost 80 forma, and I'm still gonna be going harder on the grind for the last few days.
I really like Chroma now, he's become my current primary Plague Star frame. Pumping ability strength for Vex Armour makes up for my lower damage on my Strun Prime and I replaced his Spectral Scream with Energized Munitions since I can just use emissive to choose his element for Ward.
Well, I had finally basically run out of credits and decided to go through my Warframe inventory to see if I could sell some stuff off and... Apparently I had just a little bit of stuff for a few extra credits. Nearly 5 million creds, mostly in old nightwave tokens. I'm keeping 5 of each though.
Slowly working on the Plague Star event in Warframe and I think I found my loadout. With a riven I have I can get my Strun P to 55.5 multishot, and then bring max power strength Mirage. It feels like it actually shreds pretty well. 55 pellets, 522% damage bonus, and the 4 doppelgangers.
Managed to get a code for the Blue Protocol beta and I like that I can make my character look like she hasn't slept in weeks and lives solely off of coffee. Also that the Jonathan Joestar pose is one of the poses in the character editor.
I'm really looking forward to the Hate and Despair Incarnons since I have rivens for both. 174 CC and 111 CD for the Despair and I might do some more rolls on the Hate but it's sitting with attack speed, crit damage, and 20 initial combo.
Holy shit, I was sleeping on the Dread Incarnon. I was so lukewarm on Dread that I never bothered spending the resources on my Incarnon adapter until now and it's actually nuts. I'm gonna definitely grind out the whole SP Circuit next week for Despair and Hate incarnons.
Like, I grabbed a mini pack on sale for $2.75 and got 100 plat and a new weapon with the potato and slot. That's 25 more raw plat than the same-priced plat plus a 225 plat weapon that I don't have to grind in what I see as just a bonus to the discounted plat. (Also my first full Serration mod)
