Can you name the song?

While all the windows stare ahead
An' the streets are filled with dread
Every nation in the world
Slinks through the alley after girls

"I loved drumming, so I just thought, 'Right, I'm going to learn reggae now.' That's the way I was – I've got an addictive personality. All I ever did was drum, drum, drum." - Topper Headon, The Independent, 2009

Can you name the song?

Standing in the bog of a west end bar
Guy on the right leaning over too far
Money in my pocket gonna put it in the slot
Open up the pack see what type I got

Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin
Engines stop running, but I have no fear

Can you name the song?

The kingdom is ransacked, the jewels all taken back and the chopper descends
They're hidden in the back, with a message on a half-baked tape with the spool going round
Saying I'm back here in this place and I could cry and there's smoke you could click on

“We’re not afraid to play around. What we’re doing now is experimenting. But I’ll only put on a record if it’s worth listening to. I hate music that’s so concerned with being ‘new’ that it forgets to have any soul, y’know?” - Joe Strummer, NME, 1981
