“Indie” should be based on team size/ budget. Not fair for a small team that scraps together a game w gum wrappers & paper clips to be judged against a nepobaby funded game with a 10m budget made only by 3 people “and 90 friends” 🙄

A small broke indie team that managed to get a publishing deal being considered "less indie" than sons of billionaires or teams with infinite runway is extremely cynical and frankly quite insulting to the indie devs hustling out there
