What does this mean? AI in the UK:

- It’s small, but investors are backing growth
- US ownership is strong in big firms, but most are UK-owned
- London dominates, while Birmingham underperforms

44% are in London alone.

Reading and Edinburgh outperform bigger cities like Birmingham.

But among large firms, US ownership rises to 30%

Just 4,000 UK companies operate in AI - 0.1% of all businesses. But they account for 14% of funding rounds in emerging sectors.
