Promo image for the game Tunic, which I thought was pretty good. The main image is a graphic of a lil' fox guy wearing... a tunic and holding a sword and shield. It stands in a forest with dramatic sunlight streaming through, making the sword and shield glint in the light which is probably why lil' fox has a sort of open-mouth wonder look on its face. The game title is in bold lightly serifed all caps font in the bottom third with a top and bottom border of the invented runic-like language from the game. I feel like I should hide a puzzle in here but I'm not good at making puzzles and the two people that read this probably don't need all that going on.

The record cover for Swallow single by 22 Jacks, which I thought was not great. It is a blue-green tinted photo of a diner-style ashtray maybe sitting on a plate or other white background (but still blue-green tinted). Two used and crushed cigarettes are in the nearer of the two sections of the ashtray. Gross. At the top, the band name is in a all caps serif typewriter font, slightly distressed, and large enough to take up the whole top of the cover.

The box cover for the game Lunar: The Silver Star, which I thought was pretty good. This scan of the box cover is a little dark because parts of it are silver and maybe didn't scan well. Anyhow, on the left is a vertical banner with the Sega logo at the top, the Sega seal of authenticity at the bottom and, in large barely serifed silver embossed font, Sega CD in all caps. The right side of the box is a black background with "Lunar" at the top in tall red serifed all caps font and The Silver Star in the same font but smaller and silver. At the bottom is licensing info and the rating of MA-13. Just below the main image is the phrase Working Designs Ultra Series in a flowy script which maybe makes this a special edition cover? Anyways, the main image is in classic anime style with a large armored villain towering of a group of heroes and in front of a silvery planet but also holding a moon. There are eight heroes and a flying cat. The main duo is offset on the right and wearing the attire of folks who might live in a cold village in an anime with hats, a fur-lined dress, and knee pads on baggy pants. On the left is a long-haired white guy with a horned hood but the horns are pointing sideways. Below him is an archer aiming a bow at us, a person with dark skin yelling, and then three people looking in different directions like they're in a band photo. In the right corner, it says RPG in the flowy script from the tag line.

The record cover for the Kimball 7" by By A Thread, which I thought was fine. The top 4/5ths of it is a nice blue with the band name in an italic yellow sans serif font with the "a" about half size crammed right next to the record title in a white non-italic non-bold sans serif font. This group of words takes up the width of the cover and is vertically centered in the blue. At the bottom, a yellow border separates the blue from a strip of white that contains a photo with rounded edges and a yellow border. The color photo appears to be of a bowling alley with the ball return and scoring tables visible.

The box cover for the game The Last Of Us Remastered, which I thought was life-changing. This is the "Playstation Hits" version with a big red banner at the top under the usual PS logo, PS4 logo and "Only On PlayStation" in a blue banner. The bottom left corner has the M rating logo and the top right corner under the banners has the little awards thing with the ferns or whatever around it that says "Over 200 Game of the Year awards - 2014" in all caps serif font. On the top left, the title of the game is in very bold and large white sans serif font that has been slightly distressed with the remastered part smaller in yellow. The main black and white image shows Joel, a scruffy middle aged dude with a perpetual scowl, giving us a side profile, his work shirt and jeans fading into the shadows yet his right hand holds a revolver in the light. Ellie is more lit and faces the viewer looking determined through her medium length bob haircut and in the midst of raising her rifle to take a shot. She wears her customary t-shirt over long sleeve under shirt and jeans. The image is gritty and dark just like you'd expect for this game.

The cover for the 7" record The Bright Lights Of America by Anti-Flag, which I thought was not great. It is a street art spray paint stencil style person in a business suit with a bald eagle head with their hands on their hips. In the back is a symmetrical image of some tall buildings. In front of the eagle dude is the band name centered and in all caps and the record title below it in smaller font to be the same width as the band name. I think the lawsuit is still pending but, as always, believe women.

In the center a female-presenting person is holding a phone against their ear and doing the American OK sign with the other hand. They have an open smile, a yellow shirt, and some kind of headscarf. They sit at a desk with a red typewriter on it, so it could be assumed they are some kind of secretary or office worker. In the foreground a male-presenting figure is mostly turned away from us looking back at the office worker as they appear to be leaving for home. They wear a blue suit with a white shirt and green tie, hold a brief case in one hand and an overcoat in the other. They have a medium-tall hat with a band on and glasses and appear to be somewhat middle aged as evidence by a bit of grey hair poking out from the hat. Just to the right of their head, the band name appears in a classy serif font in black against the washed out blue background.

The cover for the Dot 10" by ALL, which I thought was fine. It is a bright pink cover with a large black circle slightly offset down and right from center so the edge of the circle is cut off on two sides. In the bottom right of the circle is the word "DOT" in all caps sans serif bold font. In the pink part in the top left is the band name in the traditional all caps and bold font but with a ribbon wrapping under the crossbar of the A and around the front then circling around the L and back around under the A to make an infinity sign.

A scan of the promo single for Bleeder by Best Kissers In The World, which I thought was fine. It is a transparent red vinyl record with a basic white label. The vinyl has the large hold of a traditional 45 RPM 7" record. At the top of the label the band name is in all caps with no spaces and very tightly placed just over the track title. The left of the label has the track title again, with the writer, Gerald Collier, just below, and "edit (3:55) ascap" below that. Opposite the hole on the right side is "a side". All of this is in 90's lowercase, of course. At the bottom, the lowercase continues and various credits and copyrights appear followed by "promotional use only" and the MCA logo.

The tape part of the tape is pulled out of the cassette and stretches vertically off the top of the cover in two parallel lines. The box for the game Communist Mutants From Space, which I thought was fine. At the bottom is the logo for the Supercharger system which is a blue circle with a gold border and inside it reads "A Supercharger game for the Atari Video Computer System". Text in white to the right reads Supercharger unit must be purchased separately. Cassette player required. A white sticker below this describes how the Arcadia Corporation changed their name to Starpath. The title of the game is in huge letters at the top, taking up basically the top third. Communist is on one line in red font with yellow border with a hammer and sickle image upside down for the C and a star for the dot in the i. Mutants is the next line and is in a slime-drenced 3-D font. From Space is the final line and is in a strange futuristic font. The main image is four alien/robot beings standing in a group. They each have slightly different red metallic heads/helmets with many green slits for eyes and fins and grills and things. One is holding a round bomb with a hammer and sickle on it. Three are in uniforms with red collars with a star on them. The front one has overalls on and is holding a Molotov Cocktail.

The box for the game Dodge 'Em, which I thought was not great. It is a pink box with the classic all caps retro futuristic Atari font displaying the title at the top in white, with "Video Computer System Game Program" below it, followed by "3 Video Games" and the description of those games which is just the title again and "One Player • Two Players". Below that, the main image is a color drawing/watercolor of two very old cars, like Model T era, playing a game of chicken, one facing the viewer and the other zooming into the distance. The one facing forwards is taking some evasive action and listing heavily to the left as it steers out of the path of the other driver. A male-presenting driver, wearing a cable-knit sweater, bow tie, and a jaunty beret looks positively shocked as they swerve. A female passenger is tossed towards them in the g-forces (no seat belts, I assume) and is holding on to their hat despite it appearing to be secured with a scarf wrapped around it and is wearing a skirt + shirt combo or maybe a long dress with a belt. A closeup of the dodging car is rendered larger in the background like a Sears photoshoot but slightly modified to have them both looking at the viewer instead of the female-presenting person looking at the car they just dodged. Exciting stuff.

The box cover for the game Frogger for the Atari Supercharger, which I thought was fine. The main image is of a frog dressed in a vest, watch, and tie, holding a briefcase, hurriedly scurrying across a road with sweat dripping off of them and a frightened look on their face. In the background a semi truck (or tractor-trailer, if you please) looks parked but is probably supposed to be barreling down (the non-American side) of the highway. At the top is the classic Frogger logo/title in rounded sans serif letters with a thick border. Above the title it says "the official" and below it adds "by Sega". Small white text describes all the copyrights Sega holds. At the bottom an oblique blue banner holds white text that describes how the concept and packaging were licensed from Sierra ON-LINE and that it is a Supercharger System game for the Atari VCS. The Starpath logo appears below the banner and the artist signature, maybe C. Dellore, is below that. Is this the best rendition of Frogger art? Maybe!

The cover for the Cayetana 7" record Tired Eyes, which I thought was fine. It is a watercolor painting of three female-presenting heads floating over a bunch of maybe wilted flowers. The flowers are all dull colors and maybe used to be roses. Some have even lost their petals. The left head has medium-long brown curly hair, the middle head has long blue straight hair with long bangs slightly swept to one side, and the right head has long brown straight hair with choppy bangs. All of the faces have been replaced by flower patterns with vibrant flowers sparsely arranged on a white background like a print. The band name is on the top left in a hand-written cursive script and the record title is on the right in half cursive, half not. Just to the right of the record title is a rectangular grid of colors used in the image.

The record cover for Feel Nothing by We Set Sail, which I thought was pretty good. It is a picture of the presumably wild horses galloping through a brushy grassland. The grass is brown between the clumps of green shrubs and in the background the edge of the valley gives way to wrinkly mountains. Just above the mountains in a partly cloudy grey/blue sky, the band name and title hover lightly in a very pale sans serif font, with the letters of the band name lighter and more spread out than the title.

The cover the 7" record "Under The Influence Vol. 6" by Andrew Jackson Jihad / Cobra Skulls, which I thought was fine. It is a parody drawing of the Neutral Milk Hotel record cover but drawn by punk artist Mitch Clem to show the same scene but in a less painterly fashion. If you don't know the cover, this version depicts a seaside scene but the background is of a shipwreck with two survivors flailing in the water and two potential rescue boats steaming and sailing away. The foreground is kind of a tourist photo of two people in the corner of a railing of some kind. The person on the right has a tambourine for a head and is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the sleeves scrunched up, a Lemuria patch on the front and two pins. The person on the left is a young kid in the original but a red-haired bearded person with a sleeveless Sub-Standards shirt on, glasses, and their hands raised high up, wearing an expression of joy on their face. In a rectangle in the top left corner, the band name appears in sort of an old Western serif all caps font and the title of the song is in a small rectangle at the bottom of that larger rectangle in a similar but more clearly hand drawn font, but inverted colors (the rectangle is black and the font is white).

The record cover for the Johnny X 7" by The Bouncing Souls, which I thought was pretty good. It is a black and white drawing of a punk with a sort of 50's pompadour sitting on a bench by some railroad tracks. The punk is sort of hunched over and has one arm resting the elbow on their thigh while holding a bottle. The other leg is sort of splayed out and the foot is up at a jaunty angle. A bold light, presumably from a train coming towards the viewer, casts the punk in a deep shadow and illuminates every other surface, making the fence on the opposite side of the tracks, the underside of the overhang above the punk, the slats in the track, the sidewalk, and the bench all glow white. The band name is in a broken blue sans serif font in the top right corner in front of a blurry full moon and is stylized as "bouncing souls" in all lower case. The record title is at the bottom in all caps broken stencil font in blue with a slightly smaller black letter offset in front, kind of like in the 90's "you wouldn't steal a car" anti-piracy ads. Anyways, this is a pretty good record.

The app icon for the game 4 Pics 1 Word, which I thought was fine. Across the middle are four Scrabble-like tiles spelling out the word "WORD" in all caps sans-serif font. There is a stock photo in each corner (4 pics). The top left is a digital image that maybe is supposed to represent fire as it is various orange swirls. Top right is a puppy running across a field but the colors are all shifted towards the green spectrum a bit. Bottom left is a partly cloudy sky. Bottom right is a scene of swirling sand dunes (with a just barely visible person on the top of one). I don't know what the word that ties these all together is, so I guess I'm not very good at the game!

The Born Against side of the Born Against / Screeching Weasel split 7", which I thought was fine. The main picture is a black and white photo of a femme-presenting person from the 50's or 60's wearing just a bra and holding her arms over her head while giving a playful expression. At the top, the band name forms a half-circle over her arms in a bold, serif font but the S is a dollar sign. The track name, "Janelle" is in the same font at the bottom but in green and vertically compressed in the middle to make the name curved downward on the top and curved upward on the bottom. I might get in trouble for this image? We'll see.

A screenshot of the title graphic for the game Messenger, which I thought was pretty good. A small, spherical world floats in a background of teal blue sky/space. You can see full buildings and trees and more extending out from the sphere, like a tiny village has been wrapped around itself. Floating in front of the sphere world is the title of the game in a very strange font that looks non-English but is in English. The nine letters of the game name are arranged in a rectangular grid and each letter takes up the entirety of that grid with a 3-D wall (seen from the top) creating the letter. The second E is backwards, too, for some reason. At the bottom is a yellow rectangular prism with the word "enter" on it in a normal-ish font.
