“Dirty Mind”, the title track from the third (and my favorite) album of Prince Rogers Nelson. Back in 1980, my sister, Patrice, debuted this album and I was jamming. Midway through “Head”, I heard a scratch…which was my mother removing the album from my sister’s record player, @claycane.bsky.social.

I never heard this story about a brother from my chapter attempting to play at Wimbledon. A Kappa man was the only black man to win Wimbledon.

@officialtedwinn.bsky.social and @claycane.bsky.social, since you mentioned it. That “Live at The Apollo” by Daryl Hall and John Oates was really their effort to show that David Ruffin and Eddie Kendrick were reliable (they had issues) which paved the way for them to reunite with The Temptations.
