🇷🇴 TVR has announced 68 semifinalists for Selecția Națională 2026.
They will compete in the Eurovision 2026 Open Workshop on 9 February at 15:00 CET and 10-11 February at 10:00 CET, live on TVR+.
The 10 finalists will be revealed 12 February at 19:00 CET on TVR 1 and TVR Info.

The production values of #Melfest are definitely well beyond most other national finals. That last performance was basically Eurovision-ready in terms of staging and visuals.

Like with other longer national selections such as Lithuania, I probably won't be able to get around to Melfest until the final. These are marathons, not sprints, anyway.

Next up for me is planning a review of the Benidorm Fest songs. Just because they're not at Eurovision doesn't mean I'm not going to watch. It was an enjoyable hot mess last year.
