i am excited!!! to have an office with a big desk!!!! grendel is moving in with me tomorrow bc he's moved before and i trust he can be a big boy about it.

also one more sleep until large men i am paying too much money for move my big furniture into the house so i can actually live in it
one more sleep until hormone consult
he's moved before i am assuming this is what he is experiencing rn
lt's theory of pets did not stick because it's particularly good or bc of ee tbf it stuck because my dad had it on audio book and listened to that cd 3-4 in a row every time we drove down to my grandparents. i listened to that story probably a hundred times
i've read everything's eventual 3 times fsr maybe this will be the one that makes something besides autopsy room and l.t.'s theory of pets stick
tbh i haven't really read much king but im kind of interested to revisit what i have. curious how misery and carrie hold up under adult eyes. pet semetary i expect to still bum me out
my hold on from a buick 8 finally came in so i'm excited for that. i forgot it was mostly about this kid's dead dad and memory and grief. and also a car that is a portal to an alien world is there but that's not the point. sure that will be fine and not make me cry at all
i think any author with any sense at all knows better than to do that. ikwym though. don't like modern social media means risking Creators having opinions about your opinions. sometimes i just want to say i thought a book/game/movie was shit it ain't about you
he's so stressed and mad. all hid stuff is gone 😾
i am so irrationally tilted by the ... here
anyway. one of those movies that is probably only totally comprehensible to the person who made it but the intimacy and melancholy was palpable. the imagery is surreal and intense. gonna be thinking about for a bit
im glad I watched it all the way through and i think it's the time. credits confirmed the woman's not supposed to be his mom but i still feel like she's a mom proxy? curious what was on with that character and storyline
it was this guy's 14 year passion project to say goodbye to his dead family, deeply personal and i feel like shows
watching kill it and leave this town its so visually striking. most of the movie looks like it's drawn on crumpled scrap paper that was tapped together. there's a scene about 40 minutes in of the director/writer dancing with an old woman (his mom i think) done all on lined paper
i am so worn out but i got all my boxes moved today. wish i was sleeping in the townhouse rn but i have no furniture and nothing to sleep on so it's still staying at mom's for tonight and tomorrow until we get the bed moved over ;;
i thought csi was so cool when i was a kid and im glad i grew out of that but. it does still entertain me to watch. i am not immune to ridiculous off the wall 'deductions' based on bullshit 'science' 😔
of course for the first and likely only time in my life the verizon tech called to ask if i wanted him to come now and i had to say no because I don't have the keys yet 😭
two cars packed! keys at 10am! Verizon whenever they feel like showing up! aaaaaaaaaaaaa!
