A flood group can have a variety of aims & objectives. Some groups want to warn and inform their community, whilst others want to work with agencies to tackle flood risk issues.

There are now 14 ⚠️Flood Alerts and 🚨3 Flood Warnings across the North West. The Met Office yellow weather warning for rain 🌧️ is in place until midnight Friday.

The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for rain from 15:00–23:59 Friday and wind from 15:00 Friday–23:59 Saturday.

🌧️ Heavy rain is likely to lead to travel disruption and localised #flooding.

🍂During the autumn months, there's an increased risk of drains becoming blocked with fallen leaves and causing surface water #flooding. 🍂

Taking time to regularly clear leaves from drains can make a huge difference💧
