Cycle of the Stars Link (Hero’s Tunic ver.) 💫

A character design ref sheet for an original version of Link, from the artist’s au entitled Cycle of the Stars. The reference shows a breakdown of Link’s Hero’s tunic, which is colored dusty blue with a long panel in the front and back, open sides at the legs, mid length sleeves, and a neckline shape reminiscent of an eight pointed star. They wear pale gold armor with the tunic, including bracers, a shield-shaped chestplate with attached gorget worn under the tunic, and a tall, pointed pauldron on the left shoulder. Link has long hair that reaches the center of his back, partially tied up with a circular piece of Sheikah tech that lights up in a bright blue halo behind their head. The character sheet shows the outfit in various stages and details several items and patterns, along with handwritten notes about key aspects.

A digitally drawn character design reference sheet for the artist’s original version of Zelda. She wears a floor length deep purple dress with gold accents, and a leaf and flower motif centered around the hem of the dress. The sleeves feature several cutaway areas toward the top, no shoulders, and join to each other in the back in a crescent shape reminiscent of the bottom half of a cape. Zelda’s brown hair is pinned up behind her head into 2 loops connected at the center of the back of her head and accentuated with the back of her crown. The crown is gold with cool blue gems set into it, shaped vaguely like leaves, and has a pair of rounded shapes attached to the back which frame Zelda’s head almost like a halo.

The reference sheet shows several different views of the outfit, including closeups of key items and the outfit broken down into its various layers.

A digitally painted reference sheet for the artist’s original version of Ganondorf, complete with written design notes. The tall, well muscled man has long red hair swept back from his face and tied at the bottom with a gold clasp behind his back. A shorter section of hair sits in a braid on his left shoulder. Ganondorf wears a long, dark teal skirt; slit up the front on the right side and patterned with gold water lily leaves and a large colored lotus flower at the bottom of the fabric. The top of the skirt meets a golden metal corset around Ganondorf’s waist, inset with a larger fuschia gemstone and a smaller turquoise one. A wide teal sash is thrown over his left shoulder, culminating in a patterned train behind his back. He wears a collection of gold jewelry, including necklaces, bracers, armband, and crown & circlet combination.
