As good as he is in the Evil Dead films, the role he was born to play was in the criminally short lived TV series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. That show should have run for years. Check it out.

Love Bubba Ho-Tep. It has more heart than you’d think a movie about a geriatric Elvis and a black JFK fighting a mummy in East Texas could have. It has an amazing soundtrack, also.

Whenever my father saw a movie that he thought was perfect cinema like Blood Simple, he would sit me down so I could watch it. Forget the fact that I was 10 freaking years old at the time.

Even if you set aside those reasons, AI is creative death, no matter how the companies spin it. Creativity is fueled by accomplishment; making something a reality that wasn’t before and it was you that did it through work and learning. That’s the basis of how we achieved EVERYTHING in history.

This is the result of a country backing a “strongman” candidate who has no regard for anyone but himself. This is the man that, when someone protested at one of his rallies, said, “You know what we used to do to people like that.” And here we are.

I’m confident that this nation will survive this dark period. But, what will it be afterward? Will we have learned anything? Or will we do what we did with Biden and slap a Band-Aid on a gushing wound? People need to be held accountable. If we don’t do that, then we’ve learned nothing.

I can’t remember the America where shame and fear weren’t the everyday state of being, anymore. Maybe, just maybe, the only good to come from this will be more of my fellow citizens who look like me will finally understand this has always been America for its black citizens.

It’s honestly at the point every time I see a commercial that is the least bit suspect I have to go online and research whether or not it was AI generated. I can’t tell you how many YouTube videos I’ve been watching where halfway through I realize I’ve been duped by AI. I’m sick of it.

DVDs had a lot of love & attention put into them back in the day. Animated menus, hidden Easter eggs, etc. Even the packaging for special editions were so good at times I bought them just to put on my bookshelf (LOTR is a particularly good one).
