I have a new home for the digests (it was previously hidden in a box in a closet). And yes, that is a tiny Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow. It came with a Superman DVD (Walmart exclusive).

I've largely stopped collecting toys. Too expensive now. I've been storing the boxed one (McFarlane basic and NECA standard fits tightly in these containers). The company that made the boxes no longer manufacture them so it's impossible for me to get more.

Someone asked me about the Teen Titans TOR book, I finally found it. It was with my Digests. I don't really have a large Digest collection, because in my opinion, they are hard to come by in good condition (and for a fair price). I never bought them when they originally came out

There's a debate over Raven being Indian or White or "goth". The short answer is George Perez based Raven on an Indian actress, but that has nothing to do with her character or define her character. Wolfman originally wanted the character to be black. Video from Judas Contract

I found a brief comment about the cover painting by Mr. Frazetta in an interview published in THE COMICS JOURNAL #174 (Feb 1995), Page 73. Notably, he thought the costume was "corny", and the painting sold for ~$88K when he put it up for auction...

GROTH: Was Warren familiar with your work?
FRAZETTA: Not a hell of a lot. He was a fun guy, but also full of crap. It was great though because I got to do Egyptian Queen, Sea Witch, all those super covers.
GROTH: Whatever you wanted.
FRAZETTA: Absolutely, whatever I wanted. Vampirella, and the rest.
GROTH: Do you have the originals of the Vampirella painting you did?
FRAZETTA: No, that was sold by me at an auction. Went for 88 grand.
GROTH: Jesus Christ.
FRAZETTA: Not bad. I undressed her. [laughs] I thought that costume was so corny, I undressed her, and everybody loved it more.
GROTH: How did you create the Vampirella painting? Was that an idea from Warren?
FRAZETTA: I don't really remember. We discussed it ... It was so long ago. I recently saw these Kicks & Co Stackable LED Display Cases at Walmart and decided to buy one to check it out. They’re marketed for sneakerheads, but I thought I could display some toys, and it might look cool with the LED lights.
