I've been sick for like, two weeks and I'm finally feeling well enough today to get back to work. Kind of a prototype/WIP, when I'm sketching out an idea I'll use leather multiple times if I can. These are imaging tests I did on a scrap piece that I'm repurposing into a prototype mask

It's kind of interesting how Boston's airport is called "Boston Logan" or "Logan Airport". Other US cities call their airports by name (JFK, LaGuardia, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare) but mostly it's because those cities have multiple airports. Boston doesn't have a second airport

This is the whole kit, for context. Most of this was made by me, including the cloak and the weapon. We have an event coming up at the end of winter, so hopefully something exciting will happen! The winter event is where they set up the plot for the whole year, so I'm looking forward to it

This is part of my kit for the character I'm currently playing in my LARP game, she's a druid healer. The belt and pouch were some of my early leatherwork, and the skirt and other accessories are from last year. I've really improved!

Something I thought was interesting was that the plates always seemed to be hooked together two at a time, and they used these little clip things. Not sure why they did that! Stability maybe? For going around the curves?

Still trying to figure out what to put here, so more about me I guess? I learned how to do leatherwork and sewing because I like LARPing and ren fairs but can't afford to buy the premade stuff. Plus making it yourself you can really customize your characters!

Oops! I got this week's collars cut but my bottle of black dye was a lot closer to empty than I realized... I got a new bottle today but that just pushes everything back a day. Still hoping to finish tomorrow! Really excited to show you all :3
