I’m 95% sure that the author Will Wight has played FF14. The Cradle books remind me so much of that game. #unsouled #willwight #cradle

I’m 1/4 of the way into #AtlasShrugged by #AynRand and I gotta say… she’s such a pick me little bitch. Just a “oh I’m smarter than everyone in this room. Let me tell them.” But couldn’t find her way out of a paper bag if it was torn in half. God she would’ve been insufferable on Twitter.

The world is so cool. The story was really interesting. I think the MC was kinda annoying sometimes tho. Really made my eyes roll how much he self depreciated.

That was weird.

But good weird.
LeGuinn weird.

I really enjoyed it. It makes you think. I wanted more of an answer as to what the fuck is going on. But that was just my wishful thinking. Good book tho.

It really delves deep into our innate humanity and what creates humans.

Eh. #TheCircusInfinite is written in a 3rd person present style and it felt like I was being told the whole story instead of shown.

The MC was very frustrating. Cool abilities but overpowered.

Everything the author was trying to say in the subtext was too heavy handed and felt forced.

The Secret History was surprisingly good. I was bored as hell the first 20% but after that it was excellent.

Wild ride. I honestly hate all the characters. They’re all terrible people. But it was really well written and turned out to be a good book.

I was under the impression that this was a #thriller? It’s not. It’s #literaryfiction. That’s on me tho. Or the person who recommended this to me on tiktok.

It was good! It’s a time capsule of pre-covid politics on race, gender, and class. Very well written. I liked it well enough.

This was really confusing at first but was pretty good by the end. I didn’t realize #Circe was a #cat until much later in the book.

Very brutal and violent and horrific. On par for her writing.

This style of #dystopian #horror is hard to pull off well but I think this was successful.

I really enjoyed this. I love #sci-fi #horror that is inspired by #Alien.

This was a lot of fun. I wanted more of it honestly. This needed to be much longer. A full novel would’ve suited better the story. The author is very talented. I hope to read more by them soon.

This man’s penis led him to places I wouldn’t go with a gun. I’m surprised he made it thru the AIDS epidemic tbh. While at times this book was verbose and rambled like an old man at a nursing home, I couldn’t tell you what would happen next his life was that crazy.

Yes! I made a friend at JordanCon this year and they put me onto it. In 1/3 of the way thru the 3rd book in the series.

I found my favorite read of 2025 this month.

Buffalo Hunter, Hunter is amazing. Everyone should read it.

I had just a banger of a month in general.

I’ll take “Calling everyone you don’t like a faggot” for $500 please.

This book was insanely boring. I finished it out of spite. The characters were so flat. The dialogue was a snooze fest. The plot goes nowhere. Hell there isn’t even really a plot.

0/10 don’t recommend.

Even with the couple of dog deaths, this is probably my favorite read of 2025. It was beautifully constructed. The nested framing similar to Frankenstein was so interesting and made the story feel that much more vibrant. And that ending?Good god. I could definitely reread this many times.

That’s was… lame. That was so boring. There wasn’t any twists or turns. Everything was pretty damn predictable. Not a single thing I couldn’t see coming. The books actual structure was atrocious. It bounced around a tonne. It needed a better editor. It wasn’t an enjoyable read.

The second one is just as good as the first. Lindon is on some Rock Lee type crazy it seems. I loved it. The power scaling rivals a Shonen anime.

It’s very Hunter X Hunter.

I’m having a blast. It’s fun, they’re fairly short. The characters are cool as hell. The magic is cool as fuck.

This one was dense… like really dense… and dry… oh lord was it dry. This one focuses mostly on the wars and battles and violence of the American government and the European powers. It was very informative. I do wish it delved further into the relationship aspects tho

#Romantasy as a genre on the whole is fraught with vapid books that put the story on the back burner. This is NOT one such case. This one has a plot. The characters are complex. The one actual sex scene was lame as hell tho. 🥱 Yawn boring hetero stuff But overall, a good #fantasy book.

The story of huckleberry Finn told through Jim was a great expansion on an already great novel.

See the world through a slaves eyes as well as already seeing it through a young boys eyes brought such a unique light to the story.

The author is incredibly talented.

Entirely underwhelming. The horror aspects were inconsistent. Is it a zombie? A poltergeist? A ghost? Who knows! The author didnt. The main dog doesn’t die but other dogs do. It’s like if The Ruins by Scott Smith and In the Tall Grass had a lame younger cousin who copies them.

I forgot how horny this book is. Bunch of WHORES Makin a mess of New Orleans and Paris. 🙄

But for real, it’s a well written story. I like the way the world is built and how the vampires are made and stuff. And this book is SO GAY!
