Woah 😳 My mother was a social worker and a very caring one at that. I think she’d have been a progressive today. I didn’t get that kind of treatment. We were more middle of the road. Had my last at home, 20 years ago. I have mixed race kids. I didn’t really start unwinding things until about 2015.

The judge says they’re federalized as of today, stay was partially lifted, but they cannot be deployed to Portland. I wonder what Oregon’s N.G., A.G. is going to have to say about this? Yesterday it was that he’d have the N.G. protecting citizens from ICE.

He did some good stuff, he also did some not so good stuff, like most humans. He told me in the 80’s that racial profiling was real, and cops used it. His work to keep overtly racist people out of power was good. I think he didn’t see his own racism as a cop, and sometimes abused his power. 😕

The govt has 29 days to be “shut down” before people don’t get paid. Please don’t fall prey to the “nobody’s getting paid bullshit.” That’s Congress, trying to fool us all into believing they aren’t getting paid 😩Everyone will get paid on the 30th as usual, unless they choose to KEEP it shut down.

They’re getting pulled at 29 days so they aren’t getting paid for the month they’re on duty, they’re getting paid like it’s a part-time gig - like their regular contract. They’re getting shafted. I suspect it’s going to be difficult to get many volunteers given that info.

My deal breaker was WAY back at, “I just walk into the dressing rooms” 🤦🏻‍♀️ He didn’t reference Miss Teen, but when a man says that about anyone, the level of entitlement to bodies of the opposite sex is disgustingly, ridiculously, grotesque.

Been there for decades, they just went underground for a while between the 90’s and 2014. My dad used to surveil them to keep them from joining police departments and getting high up govt jobs. I’d say he failed, except he died.

Oh but they can, there’s a ton of Dem’s, too. This is not a “sides” debate. Our govt is incredibly corrupt! They don’t want to leave because of all the $$$ they make from AIPAC and other super-PAC’s. It’s all so highly unconstitutional.
