The covers were GORGEOUS.

I'm SO behind on comics right now. I have STACKS of comics still in their bags and I'm tempted to stop buying comics until I finish them, but I'm afraid I will fall behind on so many stories. Maybe I will read a few titles through and then see if I want to continue with them. Sigh.

Another one of my older comic boxes fell apart and spilled out a bunch of comics. Some of you know of the Great Comic Avalanche of 2024 so this triggered me a bit 😅 I sorted through the spilled comics and saw I had two copies of the Obama and Romney Wins issues from 2012. What a time to be alive...

Found this as I was cleaning up the Comic Avalanche of 2025 😭 I don’t remember ever reading this but I’m willing to bet I bought it because of Kirkman. CGC it is.

#TheNewGods is kind of growing on me, but if it wasn't for the breath-taking art, I would have given up on it first issue. For a story that clearly has a lot of love thrown into the visual aspects, it annoys me how awful the onboarding is for new comers. Love the variants though! #comics #dccomics

Spent 40 minutes trying to figure out why my if statement wasn’t checking both variables for an empty string
Only to find out I needed to put:
If variable_1 ==“” and variable_2 == “”
Instead of
If variable_1 and variable_2 == “”
I keep forgetting you have to script as if talking to a baby 🤦🏽♀️
