If I lose power or internet, I can’t stream or keep trying to raise funds. If I fall behind on the mortgage or bankruptcy payment, all of this could be for nothing.

That said, I’m still in urgent need of help: this week’s bills (lights and past due internet), next week’s bankruptcy payment, phone card, and internet on time, and the following week mortgage payment and car insurance. Everything else is cut back.

Even though I wouldn’t get the money immediately, it would give me a much needed break from having to constantly push for donations. Plus, everyone who hits level 20 also counts toward a free gifted sub for me, which helps me get some money sooner.

I’m not trying to be famous. I’m not dumb enough to think I can make a living off this. It’s rare for anyone to make it as a content creator full-time. But right now, this is all I can do. I’m out of options, and I’m just trying to survive with what I’ve got left.

That’s why you see videos where people say things like “comment your favorite color” or “say hi to the cat.” Every like, comment, or looping a video tells the algorithm this content matters and should be pushed, making the difference between being seen by 20 people or 2,000.

I also really need people to help push posts like this out. When I ask for likes, shares, saves, or comments, it’s not for vanity. It’s because the way social media works now, engagement decides how far posts go.

If I could of gotten enough people to sign up for the Star Trek one and had been able to finish the free goals, I could’ve earned enough to cover this month and half of next month’s bills. That’s how much of a difference they make.

I know that’s a lot to depend on people for, but I’ve been doing everything I can to try to earn money myself, streaming, Ko-Fi, merch, and the game campaigns, which could be huge for me, because if people play them and complete the free goals, I actually get paid for that.

The following week another $450 before fees for my bankruptcy payment, phone card, and internet on time. And the week after that, around $650 before fees for my mortgage and car insurance. Then the cycle starts again.

Before next Wednesday, I need to raise about $320 before fees just to keep the lights and internet on, both of which I need to stay connected, stream, and manage my bankruptcy and disability cases.

Because of the government shutdown, programs like LIHEAP that would help with utilities have no funding right now. My disability case will be delayed even longer too. That means there’s no backup, just me trying to hold everything together with what little I can bring in online.
