I would like to be an early 20th century queer artist who walks into a hotel elevator in Boston and meets the man who I immediately know looks like so many gods 😁🥰
John Singer Sargent met his muse, Thomas McKellar when TM was working as a hotel elevator operator. TM became "The Boston Apollo", posing for many of JSS' classical characters 👍🏛️🍑 #MuseumBums
