The og Staff and New Crew swapping places between stories in House of Shelley compliments their rivalry fading in the final seasons storyline.

This exchange however is a reference to Watership Down and it's sequel, but you really gotta want it. (Rabbits can't conceive of numbers larger than 5)

My favorite part of The House of Shelley is the banter between the Staff bookending the horror stories.

Not a musical, but the framing device for each of the 7 episodes is Mary Shelley, her husband Percy, and Lord Byron during the year without summer swapping scary stories on that fateful night in 1816 in Geneva.

Those stories see the Staff of the Hotel as different classic monster movie monsters.

It was to be centered on the night Mary Shelley first told the story of Frankenstein on that fateful night with Lord Byron and co.

i got SO EMOTIONAL listening to this. i can't believe my favorite podcast ended this year.
the hotel found me when i was still attending college, driving an hour and a half (one way) home every weekend. she (the hotel herself) accompanied me for many of those trips, [con't.]
