Idk how much spin is historically normal in White House briefings, like I’m sure this isn’t totally new, but the extent to which Karoline Leavitt is just straight up propagandizing with false talking points is deeply terrifying

I had one job this morning—to grab a shirt that fits from the pile of shirts that fit. Instead I grabbed a shirt that does not fit from the pile of shirts that do not fit.

What are the odds I’ll ever direct a show this special again? Probably about an Ann Jillian gazillion to one. Now. Here. This.

“anyway if all my life were a year // I’d’ve wasted the whole year, minus some picosecond / here or there where I was getting kissed, truly kissed, / kissed out of my shoes then kissed out of my pants”

Opening night is under the belt! Directing Now. Here. This. has been easily in the top 5 experiences of my life. I’m so proud of all the work on every level, & how beautifully, hilariously, poignantly it’s all come together.

Love love love this headshot that Lynzee Harrison took for the show I’m directing. 11/10

I’m directing a show, & I so deeply, deeply love this experience. My actors are phenomenal, just the best people. My crew is pulling it all together. It’s so thrilling to watch & I’m constantly stressed about everything but then I just have these moments of “ah, yes, this is why we do it.”
