Yeah this. I'm like every adult behaving rationally: if there's no tangible evidence for the existence of an entity or phenomenon, I tend to disregard it. It might make a cool idea for a short story or whatever (cliché nod to human imagination 🎊)

Show me the evidence, and I'll change my mind.

Atheism has gotten weird lately. It used to be mainly intellectuals, writers, poets, artists, malcontents and scientists, and all of them were humanists.

As the "west" becomes increasingly secular, the atheist population is like the population at large: normies who couldn't give AF about humanism.

I see a worst case scenario in which MAGAs embrace Islam and become friends with Muslims, and, in particular, the religious extremists in both Evangelical Christianity and Islam join forces.

I mean, look at how most MAGAs are now okay with pedophiles and tyrannical governments removing freedoms.
