Rewatched Army of Darkness last night. Raimi’s breathlessly manic kineticism should be exhausting even at 80m but man… the slapstick gags, cartoon mugging, stop-motion action craft and willingness to just move on from/blow up anything on screen on a dime. What a filmmaker.

Every time you come on you are showing us one of the most insane things we've ever seen lol. We gotta go DeCoteau Mode again soon.
