I finished up watching a 7 hour video about Sonic CD (This one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORJr... I liked it) and then played a little bit of Kitsune Tails while I had an episode of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on my other monitor. Now I'm eepy and wishing dot well as I drift into snoozetown

Raw Dogging Castlevania 1 is honestly a really really good intro imo. It hits a good balance of game length, infinite continues, and recreatable situations. Appreciating it later in life kinda changed my view on old games.

There was a strange trend around the turn of the millennium where devs seemed to feel like just platforming wasn't enough so they put all kinds of minigames in to fill out the game. As a kid it always made me yearn for the pure running and jumping action.
