Not just priced out but tired of all the BS. Rude people on their phones while the film is on. Talking out loud as well. Filthy restrooms and even if they are not you miss part of the film if you have to use it. Parking, traffic, the list goes on. I haven't been to the cinema in years now and 1/x

Sure, also movie studios take 3/4 so theaters overcharge beyond, now it's a $125 night taking a friend or whoever just to see a movie. There’s still nothing like the movie theater, focus, shared energy. It’s fun & intimate in a way streaming never will be, but ppl got priced out. So they stay home.
