For the next three years at least Democrats have to be two things:
1) an ideologically liberal political party in the traditional sense, pursuing left-of-center policy goals,
And 2) the core of a non-ideological, trans-partisan pro-democracy movement mobilizing in defense of the constitution.

It is, I suppose, a testament to Trump’s unique ability to desensitize us that the revelation that he was contemporaneously implicated in the most prominent child exploitation scandal in U.S. history, by two convicted perpetrators, isn’t an earth-shattering news story, even on the day that it broke.

It’s not a fucking “allegation”. It’s a contemporaneous statement of fact from a private email conversation b/w 2 child sex traffickers that occurred years before Trump was politically relevant or accused of anything. Don’t make it sound like he just came back to life yesterday to bring down Trump.
