That's normal, Munster is one for me. But as I lose many of my Irish at 3rd Great Grandparents it's a clue 😁

Donegal comes up in my Mum's which is great as I have traced her paternal Grandfather's family to there

I've lost any Viking but this is far more accurate than previous. South east england etc & southern Wales my only paternal (will be my hard to track Jones) rest maternal which fits perfectly with my tree and gives me clues to gaps in the maternal line.

Not sure, saw a post with someone else mentioning theirs so looked at mine and my mum's and both had been updated

Woohoo, the new Ancestry DNA origins update is here. Paternal is all the green and a little bit of Welsh. The rest is all my far more mixed maternal ancestry. This update makes a bit more sense to me as it reflects closer with my actual Family Tree.

Year 4 visiting Kos, year 6 visiting a Greek Island. Boat tours every year and have never seen wild Dolphins 🐬 until today 😁

Rain has started here, a bit less than a few minutes ago. Hotel corridors flooded in places staff having to try and get it cleared. No thunder yet but apparently coming.

Apparently a storm here tomorrow that's not great, never had a drop of rain before here. UK had a better than normal summer and here having a worse than normal time.

Oh dear not good. A lot warmer than that where I am, although not as warm as other years. It's warmer today 27 but looks like stay will be 24-25. Last 3 years been between 26 (1 day) & 35.

No #Genealogy for me for a couple of weeks. Just gorgeous views like this from a sunbed looking over towards Bodrum, Turkey from Kos, Greece.

A bit of #History will be thrown in when we do some day trips.

I use Rootsmagic associations, it's very helpful to make connections between people for different subjects. I've used many of the built in options plus created a few custom ones.

I'm also using my 1879 death certificates to narrow down when 1 Dr retired and the now known temporary bigamist Dr arrived in my OPS.

I think I only have 1 in my collection from Australia. Must look to see how much info it has, been a while since I last looked. It's for a Goodyear I think so relevant to my OPS too.

Is that Australian Death Certificates? That is so helpful.

So many laptops have so little hard drive space, they seem to expect everything kept in the cloud. I use OneDrive for files but ran out of space on a 250gb drive, treated myself to a new laptop with a 1tb drive and no more issues.

Sometimes you'll see a P or Private on an earlier baptism often occurs if a baby is not expected to live and is baptised at home. Then a second when they are received in the church. Sometimes you may be lucky and that is mentioned too.
