I got to hang out for a few hours with my childhood best friend today. We haven't seen eachother in over a decade. I wish it was under better circumstances but we picked up like a decade hadn't passed. It felt good. It felt... like the first spot of normal I've had in years.

As a store runner / event runner and a "retired" competitive magic player, it still makes me nuts. It's an insane amount of cards you have to memorize for a long damn time.

I miss 4 sets a year in standard.
