2nd sketch tonight. I was still sketching halfway when he moved off! To another carriage. He didn’t get off, just moved away. Why! I wasn’t done sketching yet! I finished up from the photo - I took a photo before starting. Oh wells.

Met a friend for dinner so the train ride back was late, longer, and very empty. But! Someone walked in halfway and blocked my view. And then she was gone when I finished up.

So Monday was Deepavali/Diwali holiday… and we brought my grandma out for lunch. I tried to snatch a quick sketch in before the food came, but the food came faster than expected.

This lady turned around right after I finished drawing the top part of her hair - meaning that she would be facing to the right. But now IRL she was facing left. Arghs. I ended up just trying to mirror what I saw IRL.

A first happened for me today. A stranger saw me asking on the train and asked me to sketch him too. Alas I only had one stop left and I don’t perform well under time plus him watching stress. He was happy with the end result though! ❤️👍

Did a second sketch during the demo. I stayed under the shade to sketch the view outside the corridor. Ended up moving the tree next to the church but 🤷‍♀️. I really only set out to sketch the tree so all good 🤣
