conclusion: i have too many subplots which causes them all to be half-baked; so next step will be figuring out what i can cut & how i can better develop the ones i keep

my insurance doesn't cover the cost for a surgery that's (according to my doctor) not only medically necessary but also needs to be done before i can look into getting treatment for my lipedema (which is my single biggest source of dysphoria and potentially also a source of a lot of pain i have)💀

the constant issue with my book is that i feel like some of the subplots/side characters are underdeveloped, and i'm constantly questioning if I should add scenes to fix that, or if it'll throw the pacing off and I should /remove/ plot
