A US citizen, a veteran, on his way to work, pepper sprayed and dragged from his car, surely appealing "I'm a US citizen!" and obviously no pause to consider his word only acted on his appearance, three days, no one knowing where he was taken...

Professor, the sham's incitement may include Putin's tactic sending thugs to start the violence and trigger troops to respond aggressively. In Georgia the resistance includes teams to quash those thugs when they initialize their incitement - quash it physically but not violently.

Mass repressive violence may be planned as a response to resistance when unidentified federal agents induce it first.

We have hundreds of thousands poised to demonstrate October 18 for No Kings. If teams can prepare now to quash those inducers, we might largely thwart that plan.

The president has declared war on free and fair elections and is prepared to use ICE, Border Patrol, the National Guard and the military to fight for him. CADEM is preparing and other state parties may do well to follow their lead.

Restoring our humanity through structural change... Seems to me our humanity was eroded by the likes of Fox pacing their programs with sneers and derision, then brought to ruination by the sham, and if even somewhat true, then a change of leadership along with FCC unbundling of cable might go far.

In 1966 women were forbidden to wear skirts on campus, gay bars were raided and patrons' names published, desegregation illegal in Alabama - by 1970, things changed, the ethos had changed. Map that onto today, the emperor loses his clothes, is seen for what he is, the ethos for greed goes with him.

We take a stand. We will not endorse a strongman takeover of our dear democracy. For that, we will be prepared for strongman tactics. We will attend demonstrations in teams watchful and prepared to subdue troublemakers. On election day, we will ensure our own precinct voting places are safe.
