Effulgence RPG - a sci-fi turn-based RPG made entirely out of text characters is  about to launch into Early Access on Steam on December 2. Effulgence RPG is a party-based RPG where enemies are more than obstacles - they're raw material. Break them down into particles and forge weapons and gear using a matter printer. The entire world is built from text symbols arranged in 3D space, creating a uniquely striking visual style.

GTZAStudio has announced that it’s upcoming project Mojito Woody’s Rescue is targeting  PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox and Steam Deck in 2026. Mojito Woody’s Rescue is a 3D platformer inspired by titles like Super Mario 64, Mario Odyssey  and Banjo-Kazooie cited as specific inspirations and features a cube-shaped cat named that teams up with Lana, a little yarn ball to rescue his best dog friend from an evil cucumber.

Toziuha Night: Order of the Alchemists is a sequel to TuanisApps' previous game, Toziuha Night: Dracula's Revenge ( a game we covered here). While the previous game leaned more towards a Classicvania style of gameplay, Order of the Alchemists goes for the Metroidvania approach and takes influence specifically from the DS Castlevania games. The story here revolves around Xandria, an Iron Alchemist who must set out on a massive and emotional journey and along the way uncovers some amazing things.

The Angry Video Game Nerd has been around for over twenty years and has starred in two games and a remake/enhanced version of the two games which did well, so it was only a matter of time before the AVGN got adapted one more time. Dead Mage and Humble Games are happy to announce that Wizard of Legend 2 will launch on Nintendo Switch on November 25, 2025, bringing the game's trademark elemental combat, roguelite progression, and cooperative play to the hybrid console-handheld system. Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, as well as iOS and Android via Netflix on December 2. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is the third game in the Zelda Universe to occupy Koei Tecmo's time. However, Age of Imprisonment however is different from its predecessors, as Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity were both non-canon to the timeline, while Age of Imprisonment is a fully canonical part of the story. Nintendo and Illumination have released the debut trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, as  part of a special Nintendo Direct for the film.
