To me, it feels like the entire story was all just kinda hashed-on after Wings of Liberty- WOL was the true SC2 story and the rest were just like big DLC's

All in all, fun gameplay experience, but 'kill evil god' has been done 1000 times in fiction.

/.../ I highly suggest playing SC1. It's great story-wise, especially Brood War. Pathfinding can be a bane though.
