One of the last updates hopefully: after a day with antibiotics and the heating pad, the pain isn’t nearly as intense as it was. The sore is still a little tender and I’m still hobbling a little, but I just gotta let the pills do their thing at this point. Thanks for all your well-wishes. 💖

Update: Antibiotics have been obtained. It was caught early enough that it doesn’t need intensive treatment. I may or may not have to go back in a couple days, just based on how the infection develops, but I’m keeping it clean and treating it with a heating pad in the meantime.

Revision: Turns out I am sick. What I thought was a bruise is a sore. If you remember the infection I got on top of one of the nerves in my leg from last year, it's back. Don't know how or why.
