I think it's interesting *because* it brings the singleton and colour restrictions of commander into 1v1 competitive context, not despite it.
Anecdotally, a lot of local modern spikes also play Duel, so I don't think the appeal is lost on them.

I feel really torn on the Japanese FAB booster boxes costing a third of what English ones do, the cheap singles from the former somewhat damage ev of the latter, which is not great for stores that carry them, potentially selling near/under distribution costs (see Super Slam) sucks.

Should be at least a majestic in each antiquity pack, so it won't be as bad as High Seas was.

I'd love that to be the case, but after reading Beastars I'm not convinced that it'll stick the landing, the author likes to bring up cool themes and ideas just to entirely forget them five chapters later.

I honestly don't want to defend Charli XCX as a person here, never fucked with her rich girl aesthetic and the association with redscare is off-putting, but the people producing for her were what brought me to her music in the first place and they deserve credit for their work.

Charli XCX was much more defined by PC Music crew on Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 than by Vroom Vroom though. And implying that A.G. Cook, Easyfun or Danny L Harle are just ripping off SOPHIE is outright delusional.

My take is that LL needs separate hero-specific banlists to have a chance of being balanced (I have played approximately four games of LL)

People are just used to commons and rares being worthless bulk, so they severely underestimate what Sage might do with the market (look at MtG pauper).
Besides, it's insane how convenient it is for new players, going to an armory and buying a deck at the spot is game-changing.
