Dude ain’t right. He’s an ignorant bigoted corrupt person whose operating system is glitching. A blue screen can’t be too far off.
So Obama played some golf. He also developed, passed, and implemented a health care plan that benefited Americans. In roughly the same amount of time all we get from Trump and the GOP are promises of a concept of a plan that will always be ready in 2 weeks but never comes.
Absolutely true. He gets to make up his own rules in the vacuum created by the shutdown and total capitulation of GOPers in Congress. He will become the de facto king that he wanted all along - directing money to things he wants, defunding things he doesn’t like, using the military at will.
Vance will do whatever it takes to stay in Trump’s and MAGA-world’s good graces. Remember that these people have no values or beliefs except those that get them ahead politically. Deep commitment to a religion? Ha!
The GOP cannot be trusted to play by the rules. It’s not about the ability to sell one’s positions to voters. Instead it’s about changing rules, ignoring timelines, and gumming up the process. McConnell led the way by ignoring Obama’s SCOTUS appointment for months and then fast-tracking Trump’s.
He’s clearly saying the quiet part out loud now. He thinks he’s in charge and no one can tell him what he can or can’t do. Articles I and III of the US Constitution disagree, but GOP types have essentially ceded their legislative and judicial power to Trump. The GOP owns this crisis.
It’s clear that the legacy media is afraid of losing press access if they report stories which paint Trump or the GOP in a negative light. It’s basically a pay to play scheme. This is another way to limit a free press on which the Trump admin is unchallenged.
Tesla is a colossal failure of corporate governance. Their board should have replaced Musk long ago. Corporations which survive on the spin of their CEOs don’t do very well in the long run. Substance eventually matters.
Yeah, we’ve never generated electricity with nuclear, oil, coal, or gas before. We just did it by rubbing balloons in our hair and touching a doorknob.
Let’s kick out another piling under the dock as the markets reach new highs. Add this to Amazon’s layoffs and countless others that don’t make headlines. Can anyone see a bubble?
Censorship. Plain and simple. MAGA lost their minds when Biden admin tried to limit misinformation on COVID to save lives. But, it’s OK when the Trump admin tells media outlets what to report and what to bury. Worse, they go along with it to stay in his favor. The hypocrisy makes me want to hurl.
Lie With Confidence (R), a GOP trademark. Next will be the Trump regime pressuring YouTube/Google to take down the Reagan speech. Then, AI will be used to scrub information they don’t like from all social media. When you don’t like the truth you try and erase it. Fun fact: it never works.
It’s clear that Trump sees no need for Congress. He thinks that he needs no approvals for anything - how to spend money, who to go to war with, who to arrest, detain, and disappear. Congress’ inaction has enabled him. Never forget that the GOP is solely responsible for this.
It’s the ark where he and his cronies will hide so they can ride out the dystopian end to the US he causes and stay safe from all of us commoners who will be rioting and scavenging for food.
Ahh, Concepts of a Plan. It will be ready in 2 weeks. Don’t these guys have any new excuses or are we just going to be subjected to the same old ones over and over again? If you’re going to screw the American people at least make an effort to be creative about it.
The so-called “conservative” Trump/GOP has forced gov’t ownership of company shares, directed which companies should merge together, shaken down companies for “donations”, pardoned convicted criminals, and has increased US debt fastest since Trump’s 1st term. Doesn’t sound conservative to me.
Hatch Act, anyone? Or is following the law a trite historical artifact now?
Remember the fundamental truth: Trump soils everything he touches. With his gawdy bad taste, corrupt practices, disregard for any law, and bad faith dealing he will cause anything he touches to become broken, unusable, non-functional, and utterly revolting. Been true his entire life.
Good to see the myth of the “conservative” GOP crumbling away. The legacy media always treated the GOP as better stewards of the economy despite repeated clear evidence to the contrary. It has always been Dems who come in after them and clean up their messes.
Actually, work starts on putting Trump’s image on Mount Rushmore next week. No permits, no local approvals, no budget allocation. Then, when Congress is dissolved, Trump will use the Capitol as his personal library and crypto data center. He will be ultimately buried in the Rotunda.
This is a crime in progress. Destruction of federal property and demolition without a permit are a few charges that should be levied. Architectural vandalism at its worst. DC cops need to visit the demo contractor’s offices and impound their equipment as evidence. Make it hurt to work for Trump.
Wait until he figures out what the “C” in CBS stands for…
It’s architectural vandalism.
4/ All of Trump’s actions lead toward these two objectives. The GOP-controlled Congress will not stop him since they benefit. Nor will SCOTUS who Trump will eventually ignore. Left unchecked this is where I believe we are headed. To use a football analogy, we need to get the safeties downfield now.
3/ Second, Trump will more brazenly self-deal and funnel money and favor into his own personal accounts and those of his allies. He will use this to curry favor and control actions of people and companies to further enrich himself and hold on to power. It’s the mob boss model of governing.
