Reminder that the Gkids release of Tokyo Godfathers has an English dub where Hana is played by a trans actress (who also helped with the dub script, too!) and she is FANTASTIC.

Reminder that the Gkids release of Tokyo Godfathers has an English dub where Hana is played by a trans actress (who also helped with the dub script, too!) and she is FANTASTIC.
Finally got to watch Del Toro’s Frankenstein while enjoying thanksgiving and I’m blown away, almost cried twice, and felt regret that I didn’t get the chance to see such a masterpiece in theaters.
This feels like the quintessential retelling of the story and Mary Shelley would have been proud of it
