Despite everything, I love working in the games industry. Building worlds - it's so fun! I might get laid off like so many others, tomorrow or in a year, who knows. But I'm going to enjoy myself until then. I'm feeling grateful today.

Here's the finished MiSTer FPGA computer case, in all its retro gray glory. Complete with a working power button, hdmi and vga out, audio out, two usb ports, and wifi. The keyboard is an Xtrfy K4 with rgb if I feel like it. Assembled without screws or glue, except for fastening the keyboard.

So the manga ”Coffee Moon” ended the interesting time loop story early in volume 3 and then it quickly devolved into samey-looking magical girls fighting each other and monsters for very unclear reasons. Alas, that's not what I wanted.

Not gonna reveal the finished computer case until I get the last piece done (power button, needed a new cable), but I installed Daggerfall on it. It indeed took a while, about half an hour.

Mister fpga computer case: Everything almost fits together now! One plug isn't fitting, another tends to break and needs to be stronger, and the top buttons need work. But it's so close, and so much sturdier than my last attempt

While it would be nice to just get a Steam Machine and be done with all Windows stupidity, as long as I work in the games industry I will still need a regular PC.

Är det bara jag, eller har sökningar i Tradera-appen gått sönder fullständigt? Söker jag efter manga så plockar den upp i princip vad som helst inom kategorin böcker. Det brukade inte vara så. 🤔

Played my first real session of Caves of Qud. It went well until I was randomly teleported deep, deep into a cave god knows where, and was killed by a powerful slime. I guess I shouldn't have added the random teleportation to my character stats, oops. But it was fun!

Decided to try Caves of Qud. I know my reference point forcthis kind of game is, like 35 years old, but it really reminds me a LOT of Castle of the Winds. Both in gameplay and graphical fidelity, hehe. But I’ve only tried the tutorial so far. I expect it to be Castle of the Winds x1000.

Mister FPGA computer case is finally getting somewhere! After many tries the pieces mostly fit together. If the top lid fits, the rest will hopfelly be smooth sailing

I started reading a manga called Coffee Moon. I basically picked it up because of the title. Such a good title, especially since so many manga have so laughably bad ones. Also there's time loop shenanigans, which I approve of.
