viktor leans in because jayce seems to be mumbling something to himself. “still handsome,” jayce murmurs, blood running from his mouth down his chin. “should have said it sooner.” viktor tells him to shut up, but it comes out quiet and broken and terrified

love thinking about jayce bleeding out in machine herald viktor’s arms. viktor frantically trying to figure out how to get jayce back to his lab to heal him, jayce fading in and out of consciousness, using the last of his strength to place a shaking, bloody hand on viktor’s mask
