🟦 CLEAN FEED | It's being reported in the press tonight that MTV is planning to close all but one of its linear channels in the UK.

MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, Club MTV and Live HD will close on 31st December.

Advance listings show the channel switching to all-day Teleshopping from 6am on 30th October.

- The current instance of the PFC stream has had 42,400 views in its 248 day runtime - or around 170 per day

- About 130 people per day read Ceefax via the interactive viewer

NEWS: DCMS has rejected the historic BBC Brookmans Park Transmitting Station in Hertfordshire (1928) for listing, overruling the recommendation of Historic England and C20 to designate the site Grade II. The decision is the latest in a spate of controversial ministerial interventions in heritage.
