Burnt Oak (1932)
The map shows two now-defunct airfields.
London Aerodrome (Hendon Aerodrome) became RAF Hendon before closing in the 1950s. The area became Grahame Park.
Stag Lane was a private aerodrome between 1915 and 1933, later sold for housing development.

My central London London Underground video walks are quite popular. Out in the sticks popularity is understandably bit more niche. But Hendon Central to Brent Cross - "Lonely glory amidst fields" - saw me analyse a couple of incredible photos of a very rural Hendon Central
