@annemuntean.bsky.social Anne, thank you for the posts you make. I have been avoiding the news because all I have right now are MSNBC, CNN, and the major networks' news programs. I simply cannot watch them anymore and the crazy thing is I obtained a degree in R-TV because of Cronkite.

I'm positive it's arrived in good condition. I'm only concerned about how the change in temperature. I'm sure you've had the same problem.

Colin, I just received the package but I will not open it until later this evening. It is really cold here and I want to allow the piece to slowly become acclimated to the temperature in our house. I will drop you a message tomorrow after I've opened it to let you know its condition.

Your knives are beautiful, but I prefer pocket knives. I grew up on a farm where we used knives often and we hunted and fished for food and trapped mink and muskrats for money so I've depended heavily on good, sharp pocket knives most of my life.

Dear Zuckerberg, Musk, Witty, Bezos - this is not a threat, just a word to the wise - algorithms may have gotten Thompson what some would call his just deserves & it may be they are more of a threat to folks like yourselves than they are to the average person. Beware, the same might be true for AI.

I have a Packers ball cap and a Brewers ball cap. I shit in one and cover it with the other. That would mean more if the Bears did suck so badly this year and the Cubs had more than one closer. The upside for the Cubs - we have Craig Counsell.

I have one of these old Yates American table saws and it is SO DANGEROUS! Every time I turn it on I think about the danger and now I will be 77 this month and I am thinking of getting rid of it to buy a SawStop table saw because it won't even cut through a hotdog before the emergency brake stops it.

Until one Sunday morning the talent sawed a finger off on live TV. The next morning (Monday) the owner went to work in Beloit WI and put the whole DIY part of his company up for sale.
