Hello, my name is Chrissy, and I have been writing The Waters of Love trilogy since 2011!

It is the memoir of Quaver Tune, the bass player in a band from New Zealand called Loverisque. She's in this band along with Stafford, Seth and Blake.

New Zealand is depressing as hell. I long to return home, but the price of houses there... it is just insane. Same for Australia.

A tiny little beachside community I lived in for a short time as a child... houses are now averaging half a million. Like.... HOW?

1971, the year of terror. Quaver found herself with a broken engagement...she left New Zealand forlorn, on tour with a band whose members violated her. She wanted to throw the towel in, she wanted to give up. The same man who broke her heart resurrected the band... they became Loverisque.

My trilogy did not inspire such a thing either.

Though the Beatles had huge sway over that story. I mean, Quaver wanted to learn bass guitar because of her crush on Paul McCartney. No Beatles, no Quaver splaying bass, no Loverisque, no nothing. Plus they are Stafford's favourite band.

When I wrote my #vss365 today, this song played. In fact, that final chord struck just after I started writing... and it made me think, what if aliens came here and all that was left was the musical record... and whether they'd think such a song was simple or sophisticated.

It woke me up. I have been in fits of pain all day. And having to change my stuff every one and a half hours bites. Especially when you are using the Super Plus stuff.
