Submissions for the 2025 Dissertation prize are due next week on 1 October, 2025. To be eligible for the 2025 prize, the dissertation must have been defended as part of Ph.D. or equivalent degree between the dates of 31 August 2023 and 21 August 2025.

Following WHA procedure, we submitted the resolution to a vote of the entire membership of the WHA from February 18-25, 2025. The vote passed with 83% of participants in favor of the resolution, 13% opposed, and 4% abstaining.

Therefore, the resolution is affirmed as a measure of the WHA.

On January 30, 2025, the WHA Officers and Council considered and affirmed a Resolution to Oppose Scholasticide in Gaza. The resolution responds to the dire situation facing the teaching, learning, and documentation of history in Gaza.
