We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Sister Stanislaus Kennedy, founder of Focus Ireland and the Immigrant Council of Ireland. Her vision and tireless advocacy have inspired countless individuals and organisations across the community and voluntary sector,
It was a pleasure to hear from MC Richard Deane and Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and at the Department of Transport, Jerry Buttimer TD.
We were in attendance this morning at Nemo Rangers GAA club in Ballinlough Cork for a very exciting development:

Highlighting the importance of the LEADER programme, Minister Calleary emphasised the need to secure it in the next EU Multi Annual Financial Framework (MFF), as well as stressing Ireland's key role during its term in EU Presidency.
