I just saw the original film, ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’. It was so touching, the terror, suspense, the observing of the Jewish holidays and exchanging Chanukah gifts in the attic, trying to be upbeat, until the attic hideaway is discovered. Cried hard afterward. 🕍✡️
