I've seen like 15 video clips from @acyn.bsky.social and @pabloreports.bsky.social of @aoc.bsky.social being asked questions while walking down the stairs of the Capitol building and MY question is HOW MANY FREAKING STEPS does this place have?! It's like a real life Penrose Stairs!

Man, the payroll department for these protests has to be STRESSIN!
Thousands of people filled the streets of downtown Minneapolis in protest of federal immigration enforcement for the second consecutive Friday.

I don't think people understand that if you shut down the government, ICE and CBP do NOT shut down. They're funded by supplemental money from the BBB. That's why dems are separating the DHS funding bill and asking for restrictions. I want them to demand a rescission of that funding or shut DHS down

I mean, didn't he just sit through a screening of the same movie on Saturday?
Trump looks very excited to be at Melania’s movie premiere.

Is that a shared custody agreement kinda thing or does the committee hand out ~425,000 different medals?
I might get a Nobel Prize before Trump!
As longtime observers of struggles to establish peace and justice in the US and around the world, The Nation is honored to nominate the city of Minneapolis and its people for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

Omar STEPPED on that dude!
REP. OMAR after being attacked with liquid: “We will continue! These fucking assholes are not gonna get away with this! Here is the reality people like this ugly man don’t understand — we are Minnesota Strong. We’ll stay resilient in the face of whatever they might throw at us.”

If you are in Europe before screaming about how people aren't traveling to get to DC or Minneapolis or "insert city" to engage in mass protest I want you to look at this image.

How willing/able would you be to travel from say Paris to nearly the Caspian Sea?

I've completely given up on the US ever being good at math
Trump on drug prices: "This is like hundreds of percent, depending on how you want to calculate it. You could say it's an 80% reduction or you could say it's a 1,000% reduction. You could say whatever you want."

Trump calls Kyle Rittenhouse a bad person who he doesn't like
Trump on Minneapolis shooting:

“I don’t like any shooting. I don’t like it. But I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. That doesn’t play good either” www.wsj.com/politics/pol...
Exclusive | Trump Says Administration Is ‘Reviewing Everything’ About Minneapolis Shooting
In an interview, the president says immigration-enforcement officers will “at some point” leave the area.

Once again, paging Kyle Rittenhouse
Bessent: I'm sorry he is dead, but he did bring a semiautomatic weapon to what was supposed to be a peaceful protest.

Karl: There's no evidence that he brandished the gun whatsoever

Bessent: But he brought a gun!

Karl: We do have a second amendment in this country.

Americans must be eyes wide open that blocking the DHS funding bill will not shut down ICE.

ICE is now sitting on a massive slush fund it can tap, whether or not we pass a funding bill.
Federal agents cannot murder people in broad daylight and face zero consequences.

I will NOT support the DHS bill as it stands.

The DHS bill needs to be split off from the larger funding package before the Senate—Republicans must work with us to do that.

I’ll keep fighting to rein in DHS and ICE.

Kyle Rittenhouse could not be reached for comment on Patel's statement
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)

Besides the fact that I have two in my truck for work, it's not that hard to walk into a Home Depot or Ace Hardware and find a respirator
Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"

I know and few dogs and cats that are curious about Vance suddenly caring if stories are true or not
REPORTER: Local police are saying their own officers are being racially profiled and asked to show papers. Is that a concern of the administration?

VANCE: “I saw one story about this...and look, certainly, is it a concern? Absolutely. The first thing we have to figure out is if it happened or not.”
