Included are stories which have good ideas on paper, however, that were clearly made with little thought and effort get created and all the limelight all the while

Smaller stories that have more effort but not the reach get thrown to the side because they aren’t “marketable” enough

To add a little bit more context, I’ve always been discontent with various media especially in the Xenofiction genre, either they just make them animals but oh they just act human and never properly develop them within their environment.
With some exceptions, they’ve just been fairly lack luster.
